One of the many joys of living in Paso Robles, is the number of great restaurants we have to choose from. One of my favorites is La Cosecha Bar and Restaurant, located at 835 12th Street in Down Town Paso Robles.
It is a great place to pop in for lunch or dinner, and they have a great wine list and creative cocktail menu. If hunger strikes in between, the restaurant is open all afternoon, but serves a limited mid-afternoon menu and happy hour.
The style of food is primarily Spanish and South American-focused, with an interesting selection of appetizers, that we often combine to have a tapas-style meal.
Living in Paso Robles means Sunday Brunch
I personally love gathering whatever family is in town, and heading downtown for their Sunday Brunch. It is a popular spot, so reservations are definitely recommended!
Accompanied by jazzy live music, a Bloody Mary with all the fixings, (which is to die for), or a seasonal Mimosa, my favorite go-to dish is the Huevos Espanol. This sublime dish consists of 3 poached eggs, atop sweet brioche and delicious smoky ham, smothered in manchego cheese fondue, and garnished with micro greens. It comes with a side of breakfast potatoes. Absolutely heavenly!
My hubby, on the other hand, loves the Poached Eggs and Crab Cakes. This mouth-watering combination comprises 2 poached eggs, served over house-made crab cakes and smothered in manchego cheese fondue. That is served with a side of breakfast potatoes or fruit.
