Introduction
The weather is warming up and its time to get out and enjoy the sunshine.
Here are 5 easy walks and walking trails in Paso Robles, listed from shortest to longest.
They are all kid-friendly and welcome dogs on a leash.
City Park Trail
Head on down to our Downtown City Park, and do a 0.36 mile loop around the park.
When you are done, take a seat on a bench and enjoy the sights and sounds of our fun downtown area, or grab lunch at one of our fabulous restaurants located around the Park.
This trail is also wheelchair-friendly.
Centennial Trail
This 0.92 mile paved trail starts at Lana St. and ends at Mohawk Ct.
There is a sidewalk connection at Mowhawk Ct. to the Salinas River Walk for another approximately 0.26 miles.
This one is wheelchair-friendly, as well.
Rambouillet Snead Trail
This 1.28 mile trail is partially paved.
It has creek crossings, so bear that in mind, if you are taking the trails after heavy rainfall.
Start at either Snead St. or Rambouillet Rd.
Salinas River Walk
Stretching for 1.6 miles, according to the City, this partially-paved trail meanders along the Salinas Rver.
Start at the Riverbank Ln. cul-de-sac and end at the 13th St. bridge.
Montebello Oaks Open Space Trail
This dirt trail stretches for about 2.1 miles, and is not maintained by the City. No trailheads are marked, but there is easy access from multiple spots in the Montebello Oaks neighborhood.
